Virginia Rockart Survey Adminstrators
The Virginia Rockart Survey was organized in 1983 by Jack Hranicky to find and keep records on rockart that was found in Virginia. Dale Collins joined sone afterwards, and they started with two known rockart sites which has grown to nearly 20 sites.

Jack Hranicky is a retired U.S. Government IT contractor. He has over 40 years in Virginia archaeology and the Archaeological Society of Virginia (ASV). He served as an ASV past president.

Dale Collins is a retired high school math teacher and has been an ASV active member for over 40 years. He helped excavate numerous prehistoric sites.

Together and with ASV volunteers, they has traveled all over the area looking, finding, recording, and publishing rockart sites.
